If you’re a hardcore fan of the “Batman” films, chances are, you wouldn’t be able to simply walk onto the set of the superhero movie and land a key on-screen role. But then again, you’re not U.S. senator Patrick Leahy, who also happens to be a big fan of the DC Comics films.
Over the years, Leahy has made multiple literary contributions to the franchise, including his books on the Dark Knight and his preface essay “The Dark Knight Archives, Vol. 1.” What’s even more shocking is the fact that Leahy has made an appearance in more “Batman” films than the franchise’ leading actors who actually played the Caped Crusader themselves!

The Opening Sequence of “Saving Private Ryan” is Believed to Be One of the Best Batlle Scenes of Modern Cinema
War movies have been a popular genre since the dawn of the motion picture medium. While most of the war-themed movies are based on real-life events and are generally believed to be reasonably factual, it’s almost impossible to recreate a historical event on camera that is perfectly accurate.
That didn’t stop director Steven Spielberg from giving it a try when he began production of “Saving Private Ryan.” Although the same cannot be said for the entire movie, its opening scene illustrating Operation Overlord and the invasion of Normandy is as historically accurate as it gets. The iconic scene, which reportedly cost $12 million to film, was so realistic, it has been reported that some of the military veterans who were actually present during the invasion experienced PTSD after watching this particular scene scene.

Keanu Reeves Might Never Have Played Neo in “The Matrix”
He might be popular among Gen Z for playing alpha male roles like John Wick and Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077 but the relatively older moviegoers among us adore Keanu Reeves for his roles in “Speed” and the “Matrix” franchise.
When the original “Matrix” film hit theaters in 1999, it immediately catapulted Reeves into international fandom and A-lister status. Interestingly enough, Reeves might have never played Neo in the first place, given that he was seemingly the last choice to play the lead role which had initially been offered to actors like Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Smith, Johnny Depp, and even Sandra Bullock.
